Every VELKYNO harness comes with its identity medallion, featuring NFC technology and a unique QR code. In the box, a card carries its personal activation code: in a few minutes, you create your dog's profile in the VELKYNO Registry.
Activation is done once, from your phone: enter the code shown on the card, then create your companion's profile — their name, a photo and the details you consider useful. The medallion is from then on linked to that profile, and to that profile only.
“You decide what is visible.”
You choose what the person who finds your dog will see: their name, photo, your number, your emergency contacts, allergies or treatments. Each piece of information can be shown or hidden at any time from your guardian space — and the profile can be updated remotely whenever your details change, without touching the medallion.
When someone holds a compatible phone near the medallion or scans its code, the profile opens directly in their browser, with no app to install: one gesture is enough to call you or to reach one of your emergency contacts. The medallion itself holds no readable data — it simply opens the page you have chosen to share.
Nothing is public without your decision: the profile is optional and revocable, and you can deactivate it at any time. What is visible today can be hidden tomorrow, in a few seconds, from your guardian space.
The medallion is also available separately, for a collar — the same activation, the same profile, the same control.
