Privacy Policy

When you join the VELKYNO Circle or subscribe to our correspondence, we collect your email address and language preference.

When you activate a medallion, we store your companion's profile and your contact details. When someone scans the medallion, only the information you have chosen to make visible is displayed; you can edit or hide it at any time from your guardian space.

If you add emergency contacts, you confirm that they have agreed to have their name and number stored and, if you so choose, displayed on the medallion page.

Photos you upload are used only to illustrate the profile and are publicly visible only if you choose to display them.

The VELKYNO Registry records scan events, including their date and time, to show the guardian recent scans and, when enabled, send text alerts. No IP address or location is stored in the scan history.

If you choose to answer the optional preferences questionnaire after signing up, we also collect the pieces and colourway you have in mind, your companion's breed and, if you provide them, their weight and chest measurement, along with the suggested size. This questionnaire is entirely optional; your answers are used only to plan production quantities by size and colourway. They are never sold, are kept with your signup and are deleted on request or when you unsubscribe.

When text alerts become available, your number and the alert text may be shared with our text messaging provider, Twilio, based in the United States; this data may therefore be processed outside Canada. You can turn these alerts off at any time from your guardian space or by replying STOP.

Our hosting provider, Lovable, collects aggregate visit statistics for this site (pages viewed, approximate traffic volumes). These statistics do not allow us to identify you personally and are not used for advertising.

We use this information to send you our editorials and private previews, to operate the VELKYNO Registry, and to respond to your requests. We do not sell your personal data.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. Under applicable Canadian privacy laws, including Québec's Law 25 for Québec residents, you may also lodge a complaint with our privacy officer.

The president of Maison VELKYNO inc. is responsible for the protection of personal information. To reach them: contact@velkyno.com, or by phone at 1 855 527-0717, or by mail at 797, rue de Rougemont, Québec (Québec) G1X 2M1, Canada.

Email signups are kept until the launch correspondence ends or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. You may request deletion at any time by writing to us.

Registry profiles and scan history are kept while your account is active; you may request their deletion at any time by writing to us.

This site uses the storage strictly necessary for its operation (language preference, consent choice). Our hosting provider also measures site traffic in aggregate, as described above. We set no advertising or tracking cookie.
